
Day 386 “You Name It”



Here’s a hint: He was a jazz guitarist and composer. Recording prolifically and almost exclusively for Blue Note Records, he performed in the hard bop, soul jazz, bebop and Latin-tinged idioms throughout his career.



Annisquam Lighthouse: At the mouth of the Annisquam River on the northwestern side of Cape Ann, the Annisquam Lighthouse warns the fishing boats, yachts, and other pleasure boats of a dangerous sand bar and informs them they are entering the river from Ipswich Bay. Wigwam Point in Annisquam, MA, where the light is located is an area of beautiful homes built on a hill overlooking the ocean.

Its said “True gentleness is founded on a sense of what we owe to him who made us and to the common nature which we all share. It arises from reflection on our own failings and wants, and from just views of the condition and duty of man. It is native feeling heightened and improved by principle”.

This young lady asked me why I was shooting the man on the corner (Day 375) when there’s lovely women out here. She was right!
