My fellow Blogger and photographer Timothy Allen at https://wordpress.com/read/blog/id/47790618/ didn’t like the frame on my “Thoughts” post a few days ago and asked me to post the shot without the frame. Here it is but I still like the framed one best. Your thoughts?

Thaddeus, I do like the one without the frame. I found the one with the black and white variable edge to be distracting. Thanks, I print large, when you see it in large print 24×36 its not as distracting but i do understand how it can be. Thankful you take the time to comment.

Yes it would be very nice to see it printed at that size and I agree that then the border would be fine. Unfortunately my 13″ MacBook Pro is a limit. You must have a wonderful collection of prints.
